Shyam Kalyan was the first raag that I got to listen to Venkatesh Kumar many man years ago and since then I have been a fan of him. A couple of years ago, I got to listen his live performance at Kalakshetra, Chennai; beautiful ambiance and setting it was, where I got to hear a wonderful Poorya Dhanasree.
