The passing of Sri MBK was a great loss to the carnatic for sure.

He lived a long, active life and continued to perform well into his 80’s, and thus continued to provide the music he could for a long time and that is something to be grateful for.

I had started on pulling together his recordings, checking for duplicates and checking for quality/amplitude etc about a month ago with the intent to update the page and the news of his passing came as a rude shock. Finally I got my act together and got the page updated with all the recordings that I possess and that I am able share. While there are lots of recordings of his music on the internet,  being able to provide access to a wholesome set of recordings on a single page gives me a lot of satisfaction.
